looking for funding

As a field worker without GIS knowledge, I want configurable one-tap buttons in QField that instantly record a feature at my current position with all attributes prefilled: no forms, no GIS knowledge needed, just one tap.
Example: tap "Maple" → new tree object created at current GPS position, all attributes prefilled. Done.
The userfriendly buttons are configured in QGIS per feature type and deployed via QFieldCloud, making it fast for experts and accessible for everyone.

They way you present it looks like the begining of a project.
Now you want to delineate 'rivers' but tomorrow, you might want to delineate pathways, roads, streams, ...
Same with trees, furnitures, etc.
If the developers starts working on this kind of feature, it will never end. Everyone will want to add something.
At the end, it is ways easier to let everyone prepare rhe project and datat they want to collect.
In your case the simplest way would be to create a project, that collects points, lines and polygons, with 1 field to fill :"description".

Jean B: Thank you very much for your feedback! The idea is that you can set all of this up in QGIS, or even better, in QFieldCloud. :)

QField can already do that kind of result. What you need is someone to make that happen.
