Gallery for images in relation widget

It would be nice to have the option to view the images stored as child objects in some sort of gallery view.
Right now the images get shown as their file path in a list view. For people using the images to reference something and not adding new ones, the gallery would be much more useful. Below I drew a quick mock-up what it might look like.
- Button in the top bar to switch between list and galaery view
- current image and and total number of images in the top left corner
- edit button (maybe would be better in top right)
- arrows (or swipe) to switch between images
--> also helps indicate that there are more than one image

Already doable but need some setting up and not very intuitive/Already doable but requires a bit of configuration and not very intuitive:

adding multiple images to a feature isn't the issue. But right now QField displays them as a relation reference table. To look at the images you have to click on each and go back and forth. There is no easy way to simply go from one image to another.
For example here is how MerginMaps is showing multiple image in feature (iamge is all the way at the end of the article)
